We hold inviolate the free enterprise system and the American way of life. We pledge our support to our association, our local, state, and national associations and all related industries concerned with the preservation of legitimate rights and freedoms. We recognize, as paramount, that our responsibility is to our customers, our community, and our country. As members of a progressive industry, we encourage research to develop new materials, new building techniques, new building equipment and improved methods of home financing, to the end that every home purchaser may get the greatest value possible for every dollar. We shall constantly seek to provide better values so that an even greater share of our people may enjoy the benefits of home ownership.

Honesty is our guiding business policy. Members shall deal fairly with their respective employees, subcontractors, and suppliers. We agree that we will not perform or cause to be performed, any act which would tend to reflect adversely on or bring into disrepute, any part of the home building industry. We agree to comply both in spirit and letter, with rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for health, safety, and progress of the community. All sound legislative proposals affecting our industry and the people we serve shall have our informed and vigorous support.
We assume these responsibilities freely and solemnly, mindful that they are part of our obligation as members of the Wichita Area Builders Association, Kansas Building Industry Association, and National Association of Home Builders.

We will participate in good faith in the Association’s mediation of disputes pursuant to policies and procedures prescribed by the Association, but we reserve the right to approve any result of such dispute resolution process.

We would like to share with you our Reservations/Cancellation Policy for our Council and Committee meetings. It is important to make reservations if you plan on attending one of the Association’s meetings. If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, please notify the Association office at least 72 hours prior to the meeting so we can set the room up appropriately. If the meeting occurs around lunchtime, food will be ordered for you at the rate of $15 per person and billed to your WABA account. It is important to let us know if you will not be eating or if you need to cancel your reservation. We ask that you do so at least 72 hours prior to the meeting as food is ordered and paid for in advance. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $15.00 for each reservation made. We also kindly request that you communicate any dietary restriction requests to us at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. This will allow us to do our best to accommodate your needs.

In submitting this application, I agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws and amendments of the Wichita Area Builders Association, the Kansas Building Industry Association, and the National Association of Home Builders. In the event of termination of membership, I agree to discontinue the use of the WABA, KBIA, and NAHB insignias and trademarks.
